Overview
Mixer truck, also known as concrete mixer truck or concrete transport truck, is a special vehicle specially used for concrete mixing and transportation. It is mainly composed of chassis, mixing cylinder, transmission system, water supply system, mixing device, discharge device and other parts.
The chassis is the main support part of the mixer truck, usually using the heavy truck chassis, and according to the specifications and load requirements of the mixer truck to choose the appropriate chassis type.
The mixer drum is the most critical part of the mixer truck, usually made of high-strength, wear-resistant steel material. There are two kinds of mixing drum structure: positive mixing drum and reverse mixing drum. Positive stirring cylinder means that the stirring cylinder is rotated clockwise; The reverse mixer means that the mixer is rotated counterclockwise. The mixing drum is equipped with mixing blades, which can fully mix raw materials such as cement, sand and mortar, and achieve uniform mixing effect.
The transmission system is composed of the engine, gearbox, drive axle, etc., which is mainly responsible for providing power and driving the rotation of the mixing cylinder. The mixer usually uses the diesel engine as the power source, transmits the power to the transaxle through the gearbox, and finally drives the mixer cylinder to rotate.
The water supply system is used to provide the water source required for the mixing process, and usually includes parts such as tanks, pumps, and water pipes. In the process of concrete mixing, the appropriate amount of water can improve the fluidity of concrete and improve the mixing effect.
The stirring device is a device located at the bottom of the stirring cylinder, which is mainly composed of a motor, a reducer and a chain. Its function is to drive the mixing blade to rotate and ensure that the concrete is fully mixed.
The discharge device is used to discharge the mixed concrete from the mixing cylinder and usually includes a discharge hopper, discharge water pipe and hydraulic system. By controlling the hydraulic system, the fast and steady discharge of concrete can be realized.
